What a perfect day to Nordic ski!! Skies are clear, low 20's with a slight breeze. We received a fluffy inch of snow which will help those classic skiers. Just got the report that Outer Limits trail will not be opening. Still need more snow.

Wildlife tip. Chickadee's and Nuthatches seem to be very sociable birds, often flying together. When you come along the trail and see these birds, stop and observe them. You might hear a more nasally sounding chickadee with a brown cap. This would be a Boreal chickadee. I've already spotted them twice.

Maine Day is Sunday, Feb. 5th. Full day ticket prices are only $12.00 for Maine residents.
Ladies Day is Wednesday. Half price on ski pass and a free hearty soup.
We're currently gathering volunteers for our annual Rangeley Lakes Loppet. If your available March 3rd give us a call at 207 864 4309. We also need lots of cookies and bars made for our legendary cookie tables.
